Causes a verification code to be delivered to the channel. The code can then be supplied in notificationChannels.verify to verify the channel.

Path parameters

Parameters
name	string Required. The notification channel to which to send a verification code. Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name: monitoring.notificationChannels.sendVerificationCode

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body is an empty JSON object.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/monitoring
