- options (::Gapic::CallOptions, ::Hash) — Overrides the default settings for this call, e.g, timeout, retries, etc. Optional.
def create_directory_policy(parent: nil, directory_policy_id: nil, directory_policy: nil) -> ::Gapic::Operationcreate_directory_policy via keyword arguments. Note that at
least one keyword argument is required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all
the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash as a request object (see above).
-
parent (::String) — Required. The parent instance.
It must be in the format of
projects/{project}/locations/{location}/instances/{instance}. - directory_policy_id (::String) — Required. The ID for the DirectoryPolicy to create.
- directory_policy (::Google::Cloud::Lustre::V1::DirectoryPolicy, ::Hash) — Required. The directory policy to create.

Basic example
require "google/cloud/lustre/v1" # Create a client object. The client can be reused for multiple calls. client = Google::Cloud::Lustre::V1::Lustre::Client.new # Create a request. To set request fields, pass in keyword arguments. request = Google::Cloud::Lustre::V1::CreateDirectoryPolicyRequest.new # Call the create_directory_policy method. result = client.create_directory_policy request # The returned object is of type Gapic::Operation. You can use it to # check the status of an operation, cancel it, or wait for results. # Here is how to wait for a response. result.wait_until_done! timeout: 60 if result.response? p result.response else puts "No response received." end
#create_instance
def create_instance(request, options = nil) -> ::Gapic::Operation
def create_instance(parent: nil, instance_id: nil, instance: nil, request_id: nil) -> ::Gapic::OperationCreates a new instance in a given project and location.
def create_instance(request, options = nil) -> ::Gapic::Operationcreate_instance via a request object, either of type
CreateInstanceRequest or an equivalent Hash.
- request (::Google::Cloud::Lustre::V1::CreateInstanceRequest, ::Hash) — A request object representing the call parameters. Required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash.
- options (::Gapic::CallOptions, ::Hash) — Overrides the default settings for this call, e.g, timeout, retries, etc. Optional.
def create_instance(parent: nil, instance_id: nil, instance: nil, request_id: nil) -> ::Gapic::Operationcreate_instance via keyword arguments. Note that at
least one keyword argument is required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all
the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash as a request object (see above).
-
parent (::String) — Required. The instance's project and location, in the format
projects/{project}/locations/{location}. Locations map to Google Cloud zones; for example,us-west1-b. -
instance_id (::String) —
Required. The name of the Managed Lustre instance.
- Must contain only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
- Must start with a letter.
- Must be between 1-63 characters.
- Must end with a number or a letter.
- instance (::Google::Cloud::Lustre::V1::Instance, ::Hash) — Required. The resource being created
-
request_id (::String) — Optional. An optional request ID to identify requests. Specify a unique
request ID so that if you must retry your request, the server will know to
ignore the request if it has already been completed. The server will
guarantee that for at least 60 minutes since the first request.
For example, consider a situation where you make an initial request and the request times out. If you make the request again with the same request ID, the server can check if original operation with the same request ID was received, and if so, will ignore the second request. This prevents clients from accidentally creating duplicate commitments.
The request ID must be a valid UUID with the exception that zero UUID is not supported (00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000).
- (response, operation) — Access the result along with the RPC operation
- response (::Gapic::Operation)
- operation (::GRPC::ActiveCall::Operation)
- (::Gapic::Operation)

so that if you must retry your request, the server will know to ignore
the request if it has already been completed. The server guarantees that a
request doesn't result in creation of duplicate mirrors for at least 60
minutes.
For example, consider a situation where you make an initial request and the request times out. If you make the request again with the same request ID, the server can check if original operation with the same request ID was received, and if so, will ignore the second request. This prevents clients from accidentally creating duplicate mirrors.
The request ID must be a valid UUID version 4 with the exception that zero UUID is not supported (
00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000). This request is only idempotent if arequest_idis provided.

#update_instance
def update_instance(request, options = nil) -> ::Gapic::Operation
def update_instance(update_mask: nil, instance: nil, request_id: nil) -> ::Gapic::OperationUpdates the parameters of a single instance.
def update_instance(request, options = nil) -> ::Gapic::Operationupdate_instance via a request object, either of type

-
update_mask (::Google::Protobuf::FieldMask, ::Hash) — Optional. Specifies the fields to be overwritten in the instance resource
by the update.
The fields specified in the update_mask are relative to the resource, not the full request. A field will be overwritten if it is in the mask. If no mask is provided then all fields present in the request are overwritten.
-
instance (::Google::Cloud::Lustre::V1::Instance, ::Hash) — Required. The resource name of the instance to update, in the format
projects/{projectId}/locations/{location}/instances/{instanceId}. -
request_id (::String) — Optional.
- response (::Gapic::Operation)

- options (::Gapic::CallOptions, ::Hash) — Overrides the default settings for this call, e.g, timeout, retries, etc. Optional.
def update_mirror(mirror: nil, update_mask: nil, request_id: nil) -> ::Gapic::Operationupdate_mirror via keyword arguments. Note that at
least one keyword argument is required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all
the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash as a request object (see above).
-
mirror (::Google::Cloud::Lustre::V1::Mirror, ::Hash) — Required. Mirror to update. The mirror's
namefield is used to identify the mirror to update, in the format:projects/{project}/locations/{location}/instances/{instance}/mirrors/{mirror} - update_mask (::Google::Protobuf::FieldMask, ::Hash) — Optional. Fields specified in the update_mask are relative to the resource, not the full request. A field will be overwritten if it is in the mask. If no mask is provided then all fields present in the request are overwritten.
-
request_id (::String) — Optional. The unique ID to identify requests. Specify a unique request ID
so that if you must retry your request, the server will know to ignore
the request if it has already been completed. The server guarantees that a
request doesn't result in the same update request being executed for at
least 60 minutes.
For example, consider a situation where you make an initial request and the request times out. If you make the request again with the same request ID, the server can check if original operation with the same request ID was received, and if so, will ignore the second request.
The request ID must be a valid UUID version 4 with the exception that zero UUID is not supported (
