Method: projects.locations.lakes.zones.assets.delete

Deletes an asset resource. The referenced storage resource is detached (default) or deleted based on the associated Lifecycle policy.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name

Required. The resource name of the asset: projects/{projectNumber}/locations/{locationId}/lakes/{lakeId}/zones/{zoneId}/assets/{assetId}.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • dataplex.assets.delete

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/dataplex.read-write
