Turn off AI developer tools

Note: To use this feature, your project must be linked to an invoiced Cloud Billing account that receives an active monthly invoice, and must have received the email with the subject [Billing Update] New Gemini Enterprise overage billing controls launching August 17, 2026.

This page describes how to turn off AI developer tools for your organization in the Google Cloud console. When you turn off AI developer tools, users in your project can no longer access these features.

Turn off AI developer tools

To turn off AI developer tools, follow these steps:

1. In the Google Cloud console, go to Gemini Enterprise.

2. Click Settings, and select the AI developer tools tab.

3. Turn off the AI developer tools toggle.

The setting is automatically saved.
